Connect to Korean VPN servers

Korea VPN - Plugin for OpenVPN, or Korea VPN for short, is a free plugin for the OpenVPN app. This supplementary tool allows users to connect to Korean-based VPN servers. It provides extra functionality to improve the main app’s performance and quality of service.

Keep in mind that Korea VPN serves as an extension to access servers and is not developed by OpenVPN Technologies, Inc. It does not allow you to connect to Korean servers on its own. There are also other plugin apps for other servers based in other countries such as Japan VPN, Russia VPN, and India VPN.

How to use this app

To use Korea VPN, you must first install the OpenVPN app. The main program does not have a list of servers that you can easily connect to, hence the need for this supplementary tool. It works by sending two commands to the main OpenVPN app that allows it to import different VPN profiles and connect them to the primary program, giving you access to the servers.

After installing OpenVPN, open it and let it run in the background. Then, open this app and click on the Refresh button. The screen will then display a new VPN server IP address. You can import, save, and make a profile of this IP address by tapping on the Play button. It will then connect to the server via a pass command to the OpenVPN app.

You can see that you’ve successfully made the connection when this app displays a “connected” message on the screen. However, not all IP addresses will work smoothly. There will be instances where you will encounter problems due to unstable servers or connectivity. Finding a new IP address resolves this issue, which you can do by clicking on the Reload button on the left side of the screen.

Import, save, and connect

This app provides an easy way for you to import and save Korean VPN profiles in your OpenVPN app so you can access those servers. The process is straightforward and can be done within minutes. However, keep in mind that some servers will not work properly. You’ll have to reload, get new IP addresses, and connect to them to find one that works.
