As for your Sim’s needs, you need to give them the same amount of care you would on your regular Sims. Their biological structure is really still that of a normal human Sim and there would be no frog hunting or blood-sucking that will happen.
Basically, here are the new things you should expect with The Sims 4: Realm of Magic expansion pack: potions, spell casting, magic brooms, fairies, dragons, secret portals, not-so-unbreakable curses, and over-the-top spell casting outfits that may or may not ruin the fashion industry.
