You do not have to relaunch QuickTime Alternative everytime you plan on watching a MOV, 3GP, or QT video file because this software is made to be unnoticeable. To be honest, you might forget that you have it installed on your computer. The software also comes with a Media Player Classic, but that is up to you to decide if you want it installed. In case you do not have other media players available, you can just stick to it. Browser extensions are available as well and again, it is up to you if you want them installed. You are presented with an option not to during the installation process. It is a really helpful software because it saves you from needing to install a third-party player just to access QuickTime video formats.
