Affinity Publisher Is Available For Windows and Mac

Affinity Publisher has been in beta for some time, but it's finally available for Windows and Mac. Affinity revealed a new feature during their Affinity Live event: users will now be able to swap between their Designer, Photo, and/or Printer personas. This feature is useful for those who need to create a variety of documents with different page sizes. Affinity also supports several layouts.

Affinity Publisher uses the InDesign interface, but offers many more features for modern designers. For example, if you're creating a e-magazine or an interactive PDF, you can set the document to start on the left hand page. This isn't ideal for traditional multi-page documents, but it works great for eMagazines and other content-heavy documents. You can also import and export a variety of files and formats, and save your work in various formats.

Affinity Publisher does not require a subscription. You can purchase it for $50 or even $40 if it's on sale. By comparison, Adobe InDesign costs $21 per month and the Affinity Publisher is only $40. With a free upgrade, you can easily switch between the two. And the instructor is always there to answer any questions that you might have. Affinity Publisher is worth trying out. And remember, it's worth the investment!
