Garfield's Diner Hawaii HD doesn't introduce anything new. It takes plenty of gameplay and design elements from games like Diner Dash with Garfield's Diner Hawaii HD. You have a diner and have to upgrade your characters and equipment to help serve more people quickly.

As with most mobile games these days, you have the ability to purchase virtual currency with real money. Garfield's Diner Hawaii HD takes full advantage of this and makes it extremely difficult to level up your characters without buying in-game currency. This makes this game tedious for those who don't wish to buy virtual currency. Other games have better balance between free and paid users.

The animations and graphics in Garfield's Diner Hawaii HD leave much to be desired as well. Even with its "HD" moniker, Garfield's Diner Hawaii HD looks fuzzy and isn't optimized for the iPad's Retina Display. The character animations are also very basic and awkward looking. For example, characters preparing food look like they're slapping the patrons repeatedly.

Still, Garfield's Diner Hawaii HD offers some fun. It's challenging trying to please all of your patrons to the fullest extent with limited resources. You'll have to strategize how to take care of customers with in the least amount of moves.
