An easy-to-use photo editor

Ultralight photo editor is a free multimedia app from SavMaxLab where you can breathe life into your images by modifying them and adding decorative items. This photo editor also enables users to create their own works of art by letting them draw on their images.

Something to note, though, is that Ultralight photo editor lacks a lot of basic functionalities, such as the ability to adjust an image’s saturation, contrast, and highlights. In comparison to other photo editing tools like photopea and PicsArt Photo Editor, its feature set is quite bare and unimpressive.

Very basic features

Users can put a creative spin on their plain old images thanks to Ultralight picture editor. This handy editor lets you doodle on your images to give them a fun new look. You can select from a variety of colors and even change the brush thickness to suit your tastes. There is also an eraser tool available in case you make a mistake.

You have the option of adding stickers to your photo to embellish it or a filter to completely change its appearance. Keep in mind, though, that you cannot adjust a filter’s strength, so some filters can appear too harsh on images with different light settings. There is also a persistent bug where the app will be forcibly redirected back to the home screen when trying to choose certain stickers.

As previously stated, the app lacks a number of basic editing tools that you would typically expect from a photo editor. Although you can crop your images and change an image's brightness, there are no other tools available to change things like saturation, contrast, and highlights. You are left with no choice but to perform these modifications on a different app before carrying on with your work in this app. 

There are other better options 

While Ultralight photo editor is good for simple editing — like cropping a photo, applying a filter, or adding tiny drawings here and there — it doesn’t offer much else that you can’t easily find in other similar apps. Furthermore, with persistent issues that keep you from adding stickers to your work, there’s even less for you to do in this app.
