Mirlook: The Magic Mirror

Mirlook is a lifestyle application developed by NeroX for Android devices. Inspired by the famous German fairy tale Snow White, Mirlook brings the magic mirror experience to your phone.

Using an algorithm based on face detection and the golden ratio, Mirlook allows users to compare two faces and determine their beauty scale. You can either choose a photo from your gallery or use your phone's camera to take a picture. For optimal results, it is recommended to keep a distance of 30 cm between the phone and the face.

Once the photos are selected, the Evil Queen appears in front of her mirror, asking the famous question: "Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who is the fairest of all?" The mirror then synchronizes the voice with a picture of the fairest face, declaring "You are the fairest."

Afterwards, an activity displays the two pictures side by side, with the fairest face in color and the other in grayscale. Users have access to options such as "More Details" to learn more about the two faces, "Share" to share their results on Facebook, and "New Test" to start a new experience with different inputs.

Mirlook ensures the privacy and security of personal data, as photos are never sent or saved outside the mobile phone. It is important to remember that beauty is relative, and this application should not affect one's self-confidence.
