Mech Arena is a free action title for mobile that was developed by Plarium Global Ltd. It's an online competitive mech game that has players take control of various robots and compete in PvP team battles across multiple unique maps against other players all over the world.

Just like with Pacific Rim or GUNDAM BATTLE: GUNPLA WARFARE, Mech Arena allows for extensive customization options when it comes to robot builds and weapons load-outs. A standout feature it has is the far more sophisticated graphics and detailed maps that make playing it a more immersive experience.

Strap in and prepare for battle

In Mech Arena, you'll be participating in online team-based PvP matches. You get two game modes to choose from. The first is its own take on the "capture the flag" type of play called Control Point Clash. The second is the more straightforward Deathmatch in either 5v5 or 2v2 matchups. There are also over 25 unique maps that feature various tactical conditions that can either favor long-range or close-quarter shootouts.

Mech Arena boasts rather extensive customization options, and it all starts with the bots themselves, which consists of over a dozen different types. There are more than 35 weapons to choose from for your mech builds, making for a lot of flexibility and adaptability as you face various battle scenarios. Special abilities will also play a big role during fights, and could easily turn the tide during crucial moments.

Then, there are the Mech Pilots who also bring various stat boosts and bonuses to further enhance combat effectiveness. Once you have perfected your build, you test your skills out in Tournaments and Events that are held regularly. One thing about the aforementioned pilot system is that it also applies to AI-controlled bots, as well, which has resulted in some game balance issues and jarring difficulty spikes at times.

All in all, Mech Arena is a fun and polished game that features surprisingly deep gameplay systems and mechanics. The level of customization it provides makes it that you'll always have some new build or weapon load-out to try out. Hopefully, the game balance and difficulty issues get ironed out in future updates. Nevertheless, this one is highly recommended.
